Darryl Stovall Jr., MBA

     Darryl is a champion for Personal Financial Literacy and has personally worked with thousands of people to develop budgets, educate on savings techniques, debt management, and estate planning. As CEO of Stovall Business Solutions, LLC he has been providing consulting services, in the areas of financial literacy, training and development and corporate training since 2017.

A proven leader, he has successfully completed 23 years of active duty and established himself as an educator, facilitator and Certified Master Trainer. After honorably retiring from the US Navy, Darryl became program manager for the Navy’s Personal Financial Management (PFM) Literacy program presiding over 512 military personnel and 6 civilian employees covering the geographical western seaboard of the United States to include Japan and Hawaii. During which time he was awarded for his outstanding service and support during the San Diego “Military Saves Campaign”. A program which educates service members and their families about sound money management principles and skills to promote financial stability.

     Darryl holds a Master’s of Science in Human Resource Management and a Master’s of Science in Business Administration (MBA). He has collaborated and partnered with multiple organizations throughout San Diego to include: Community Housing Works, Pinnacle Consulting, The White Rose Youth Sanctuary, Main Street Philanthropy, First Tee Program (mentor), San Diego Gas & Electric and the San Diego Library (Financial Educator). Darryl has served on the United Way Financial Task Force, has been a board member for the Black Chamber of Commerce and the San Diego Chapter NAACP as the board Treasurer. Other memberships include: Association of Training and Development (ATD), Society of Human Resource Mgmt. (SHRM).

     Currently, he has two children, enjoys athletic activities, water sports, board games. He is an active member of the San Diego Football Officials Association as a referee and seeks to continue to educate in the areas of financial and physical wellness.
